I am normally quite weary of trying brown or brown-pink or pink palettes because my skin tone just don't turn out well with many of these palettes, as they tend to be too cool for me.
But this one already looks very different from other palettes when I swatched, and I was confident it would suit my skin tone. True enough, it turns out very nicely. It doesn't makes my eyes look filled with mud, neither does the pink makes me look like I cried overnight.
I know I have overdrawn the brows quite a bit. I was testing how far I could pull the brows in without looking funny.
I really like how all the colours are pigmented and visible, but still look so sheer. This is completely Japanese-style (not M.A.C). haha.
On my lips is Sasa's Strawberry colour. I have yet to reviewed it.
And that's with the eyes closed.
I really like the blush here. It's a combination of Laura Geller Vanilla-Peach-Cobbler and NARS Deep Throat, brushed on with my Bourjois Powder brush.
I feel like I am now into another phase of makeup, instead of neutral/Earth tone/brown, I have grown into sheer, a little more glittery, Japanese kind. It used to be that I can't stand this kind of makeup at all, and I would never buy these Canmake palettes, because I just prefer the more outrageous Western style.
I guess we all grow and change, and our styles don't stay the same.
Have you tried the new Canmake Perfect Stylist Eyes? Have you tried any other Canmake products? If you have seen them in stores, what do you think of them?
