I am pretty sure most of you have, and yes, that's great!
As for the time being, I am very busy with work everyday. Even without assignments/deadlines, I will be busy reading to stay updated. Sometimes, I wonder why I don't really let myself rest. =PP
But really, I haven't forgotten to use my skincare and once-in-a-while makeup. And this post is more to credit recent discoveries.
Alright, while I've posted about the Beauty Blender, raving about how good it is at putting on foundations and blush, I have also been trying out another way that I read about on My Women Stuff, here.
You see, the thing about sponges is that they absorb products, especially liquid/cream ones. And so I did mention how reluctant I was to use the Beauty Blender for my sunscreen because I think sunscreen is too costly to waste on a sponge.
So guess what, I decided to apply what MWS says about all this application matters.
I started using my finger tips for sunscreen. AND because I had been lazy to keep washing the Beauty Blender, I actually decided to use my fingers for pretty much everything else, including the Bourjois Gel foundation and my Dr. Jart BB Cream.
And GOSH, couldn't help wow-ing at how good it all goes on.
One thing I MUST emphasize on, is really how much BB Cream I am saving because I use the tapping method. I had been using fingers to apply all my BB life, but in the traditional way that I apply moisturizer, like up-up-up and left-right-left-right for the forehead. But with the traditional method, I have to squeeze a full pea size of product.
HOWEVER, with finger-tapping piano-playing method, I found out that pea size is too much! It is like I am done applying but there is still product, so how?
As a result, I have now cut down my cream volume to a mere half of that pea size. Goodness gracious. And I find that cutting down not only is saving on product, but really, less is more.
With the finger-tap method, I can make so little go all the way round and still look absolutely flawless (thanks to Dr. Jart), AND ALSO dewey and natural. Absolutely fantastic. I think I've really grown a lot over the years from thinking that more is more (I don't use foundation, but I do put quite a lot of loose powder, and I REALLY love to PILE on eyeshadows), to realising that like what all those Taiwanese makeup artists say, all we need is to have a super thin layer, as that's what red carpet stars do.
I just suddenly realise how true everything is. All the information falling into place, finger-tapping method, ultra-thin layer... ...

Last but not least, I have been busy catching up with emilynoel83's Youtube Channel.
Her latest is on all-star eye products,
I think it's really amazing that time passes this fast. When I discovered her, I was also starting off this blog. And now, everything has transformed. She was, and still is one of favourite Youtuber. Really one of those I have been following ever since. I actually dropped a couple of top Youtubers from the 2008 time... but she remains.
I think her recent videos are really worth sitting through, very much improved from last time. And I am sure you will find a title you like if you are into makeup too. =D
And so, that's about it. Thank you so much for being here. The Rabbit Year is going to be up in two days' time, so all the very best for your Dragon year, and goodbye!
Yours truly,
Jyoan
